Something to Pray About

Every single one of us is a Son of our Heavenly Father. Just as the Prodigal Son turned his back on his father, so do we. We have fallen so short in so many ways.
God's desire is to forgive us and to enjoy a relationship with us. Why do we so often run from Him?

At last spring's retreat, Kenn and Jeff Gangel shared with us the importance of recognizing the lies we tell ourselves and our need for forgiveness. It isn't something we can earn; it's a gift from a Father who loves us. At the same time He offers His forgiveness, He also wants our faith and obedience.

There is nothing we can do to change the fact that we are His sons. No amount of sin or rejection on our part can cause us to lose His love; our "Sonship" is secure, but how much more difficult do we make life by choosing to go our own way instead of His?

How REAL is your faith...REALLY? Do we really know when He calls? Are we willing to sacrifice for HIm? How do we pass on that REAL faith to our children?

We live in a very real world that is a minefield of corruption and temptation. Satan's ways are often subtle. MDM exists to help men find ways to navigate that minefield by helping them become fully developing followers of Christ. We know that we can't do this alone. It's only as we bond together as Sons of Forgiveness, Sons of Faith and Sons of Obedience that we have any real hope.

Please feel free to contact us anytime: we look forward to your support and prayers.
